getReport() returns kIOReturnUnsupported

Hello,

I am using IOHIDDeviceInterface121's setReport() and getReport() functions. setReport() works fine. Unfortunately, getReport() returns 0xE00002C7 (= kIOReturnUnsupported). Does anyone know how I could fix this? The documentation says that both functions are available on Mac OS X version 10.2.3 and later. I am compiling and testing on Mac OS X version 10.3.9 using XCode 1.5. Thanks.
