Hi,

I have a USB mass storage device which is connected to a Mac mini system.

I am able to view the device information using the IORegistryExplorer utility.

But this device is not being displayed on the desktop so that I can browse and edit the files located on this device.

The same device is displayed as a volume drive when connected to an emac system.

Both the mac systems are using OS X (10.4) version.

What could be the reason for not being displayed as a volume drive on the mac mini system?

What do I need to check for?
