hi...

this device shows in the system profiler like it picked it up and installed it, without the install.

is there anyway to add this device to the proper .kext file or just exactly needs to be done?

i'm a switch over from pc's, been in the it industry for 27+ years, last time i touched or repaired a mac was 10-15 years ago.

same type in windows with the same problem and i would probably be able to help you then.

i got allot to catch up on, but i got 3 mac mini's now and access to a dual P5 2.7Ghz.

there has to be a way to do this as it is okay with external cd/cdr/ dvd/dvd-+rw's hd's etc...

any help will be much appreciated, gotta get this old dog to learn new tricks... :)
