Hi all,
How to use the HRename API to rename the volume name of a USB flash
memory device?
I got a problem to rename the volume name of a USB flash memory stick.
After the stick was plugged into the port, it's displayed as a 'NO NAME'
on the desktop and mounted as a '/Volumes/NO NAME'.
For a meaningful volume name, I need to change it by calling
HRename( .. ). I added ':' sign at the end of old and new volume names;
Set dirID to 0, and correct vRefNum, but I got back an error -35, which
indicates no such volume.
Does anyone know how to set the dirID param of the API for renaming
volume name?
