High Speed Isochronous support

I am new to isochronous transactions since I recently changed jobs. We are interested in developing an audio product that would require the bandwidth available only in USB 2.0 high speed.

Several individuals here believe that Mac OS X does not support isochronous on USB 2.0. Looking through the mailing list archives and documentation, it appears that it is supported, though there may have been some bugs in the recent past as in the message from Rhoads on 2/28/05 (http://lists.apple.com/archives/usb/2005/Feb/msg00161.html) which I suppose has been fixed since February.

One vendor told us:
And, again, USB2.0 means NO drivers for Mac OS X. Currently, to our knowledge, OS X does not support any type of isochronouns streaming over USB2.0. So any USB2.0 solution would be Windows XP only.
Be aware tha none of the shipping USB2.0 products have a Mac driver (e.g. the Edirol boxes)

Which led everyone to believe that it is simply not supported. But based on the conversation on this mailing list, I think that is false.

Can you confirm that it is indeed supported? Do you have any suggestions for why the vendor would feel that it is not supported?

Thank you,
