Simple mouse emulator using Microchip part

Hello,  I have been looking at trying a simple mouse emulation using a Pic16c745 low speed controller on a iMac OS 9.2 with no success at the
upfront.  This is based on the standard microchip firmware supplied by them. The device works on an XP or Win2K platform but is frozen on
the Mac.  I have a USB prober output to share.  This is at the very end.

Could someone shed some light on this problem of  "not understanding command?" I believe.
