============================================================

Dear Developer,

The Apple Developer Connection is pleased to invite you to a USB workshop
from March 16th through March 18th at the Apple campus in Cupertino, CA.

Don't miss this unique opportunity to learn how to develop software for your
USB peripheral. You'll discover how to write user space and kernel space
drivers, as well as how to install the IOUSBFamily debug KEXT.

Through a combination of technical presentations and hands-on coding, you'll
get three full days to work on your code with one-on-one assistance from
Apple engineers and technology evangelists.

This workshop is organized around the following topics:

- Writing & Debugging USB KEXTs
- Accessing USB devices from user space
- Installing the Debug version of the IOUSBFamily KEXT

---------------------------------
ADVANCED PREPARATION
---------------------------------
The following is required to attend this workshop:

1. Join the Apple Developer Connection if you are not already a
   member. Only ADC members may attend this workshop. You can join
   the ADC program (at least at the "online" level) by visiting:
<http://connect.apple.com>

2. Developers should be familiar with the USB Family & USB User
   Client in Mac OS X.

3. You must bring the USB device(s) that you wish to support. It is
   strongly recommended that you bring all existing source code for
   the driver or application, even if the source code is for a
   Windows based solution.

4. Please review the documentation found on the following webpages:
<http://developer.apple.com/devicedrivers/usb/>
<http://developer.apple.com/documentation/DeviceDrivers/Conceptual/
IOKitFundamentals/index.html>
<http://developer.apple.com/qa/qa2004/qa1370.html>

Apple provides a desktop computer for your use during the workshop,
but you are encouraged to bring your own portable computer for email
and other tasks. Please note that no outbound mail servers are
available for your use.

------------------------------
REGISTRATION INFORMATION
------------------------------
There is no enrollment fee for this workshop. Apple provides lunch and other
refreshments during the day. You assume your own travel and hotel expenses.

Seating is limited and registration is taken on a first-come, first-served
basis. We expect this workshop to be very popular, so we encourage you to
reserve your space immediately by filling out the registration information
at:
<http://adckitchen.apple.com/?Event=USBCupertino_031605WS>

Upon receipt of your reservation, if space is available you will receive a
