This may primarily be a "sleep mode" rather than a USB issue,
but this list seems best to fit my question:
I have a powerbook that I use at home with an external monitor as a second
display as well as an external usb-keyboard and mouse. I put it to sleep
by closing its lid, and I would like to wake it up by only two possible
ways: opening the lid, or, in case I put the powerbook to sleep with its
lid open, by hitting its own keyboard. It should NOT wake up by hitting
the external keyboard (or any other external usb device like a mouse...).
The reason is that sometimes the external keyboad picks up vibrations from
the desktop (the "real, physical" Desktop on which the powerbook stands)
and wakes it up. Opening the lid than does not activate the native disply
of the powerbook.
Thanks for helping,
Joerg M.
