Rick - I am not a LIBUSB developer (yet), but I'm on their email list and have written USB code (for Darwin only) for the GNURadio project (which uses LIBUSB). LIBUSB (0.1.11) can work under any 10.X version, though maybe better under 10.3 or 10.4. On Darwin (any version), the default LIBUSB will max out at around 4 M-Bytes/second throughput (input or output) due to its programming (no true async pipe calls). There is no reason that I know of that LIBUSB won't work with your particular device. - MLD
