Hi,

I have the same question, only with (/dev/cu.usbmodem18211) What does the 18211 relate to? I trying to write code for a particular type of USB CDC device and and I spent a couple of hours scratching my head over the 18211 portion of the name and if it's going to be the same for each USB CDC device of this same manufacture/ product (I only have one to play with right now).
