This case solved. I was overwriting memory that didn't show up until
the second call to IOCreatePlugInInterfaceForService.
(CFStringGetCString w/ too large of buffer.)
Still looking forward to hearing about IODestroyPlugInInterface vs. Release,
wilcard on vendor ID, and confirmation of arming requirements.
