RE: Why my USB bulk device driver hangs and requires a restart ofmachine? Experts and Guru's please comment.

I am also facing this problem. What I did in Application:

 

1. Open the device

2. Get Configuration descriptor from device

3. Set the configuration value on device

4. Close the device

 

When I run the above steps in succession, my application hangs at third step that is while set the configuration value. The gdb shows following trace

Any pointers what could be wrong ?? I have observed this behavior on Panther 10.3.9 and Tiger 10.4.5. Could it be the problem of number of bytes expected for configuration value(4 bytes vs 12 bytes))??
