Hi,
I have attached following hubs in the scenerio creating the issue:
1) First Hub is self-powered hub. It is 2.0 compliant hub. Brand name is: DLink.
2) Second hub is bus-powered hub. It is also 2.0 compliant. This hub is drawing power from the First hub. I tried with lots of branded hubs but the results remain the same.
I am only attaching the second hub to the first self-powered hub and no other device to first hub.
On the other hand in the ideal scenerio:
I attach my USB bulk devices to single bus-powered hub, and everything works fine.
a) Do you feel the issue is related particularly with the hub ? Especially The type/brand of hubs ?? How ?
b) Can this be related with the power management of Macintosh system ?
Did anybody encountered similar issue before ?
Please send your comments / suggestions for the same.
Thanks again,
Rohit

Please tell us what kind of hubs you are using in the scenario
described below. Are they self powered or bus powered? Are they USB
2.0 compliant or are they old USB 1.1 compliant hubs? If you could
tell us the brand name, that would be good as well.
