I tried initializing the modem with AT+VCID=1, but it’s still just returning “RING” on the reads. Hmmm....

Caller ID is not turned on by default.  I think you have to send AT+VCID=1 to enable it.

I’m processing serial port reads from the Apple  USB Modem and successfully getting “RING” strings returned, but it’s not being followed by the CallerID, which this modem is supposed to support (and yes..my line does have CalledID).  Does anyone know what’s happening?
