No. Please do not suggest that developers use com.apple.kpi.unsupported unless they're building internal-use only or experimental KEXTs. The version of this KPI changes with every software update which means a KEXT depending on com.apple.kpi.unsupported will have to be revved for each SU Apple ships. If you need to do something that isn't doable with the supported KPIs, please file an enhancement request at <http://developer.apple.com/bugreporter>. Or submit a tech support incident with Developer Technical Support and we'll see if there's another option for you besides rev-locking your KEXT to the kernel. Right now there is no replacement for the KUNC calls. The best thing to do is to write an agent to handle the UI on behalf of your KEXT.
