Re: Setting Baud Rate for custom USB Device - Can I?

Hi

Thanks I will have a look at those APIs.

Are there any examples floating around?

Yes the device works at 57.6k with modem like signal
control and block read and write.

What API set the baud and signal control?

First, since it's your device, you have to know what you have to do to the device to set its baud rate.

Most USB-serial devices I've seen implement a vendor-specific device request to do this, but I had access to the specs for those devices. Once you know what USB transaction you need, we can point you at the APIs that cause such a transaction to be sent over the wire.

Thanks

Stuart
