I read that in November of 2005 philippe wicker solved the problem of working with this chip but I couldn't find his source code.

Does anyone have any source code that they can share that shows how to work with this chipset?

I cleaned up Philippe's code into a reusable user-space C++ class with no external dependencies -- I'll send it to you under separate cover.

If you don't have to load external RAM, it should work as-is.

I never finished the external RAM loaded (the device I'm using doesn't need it, but there are comments and a partial implementation in the code.

If anyone else want's a copy, feel free to contact me directly -- I keep meaning to clean it up and post it as sample code.
