I am working on USB composite device ( CDC ECM + Mass storage).
I observed the below behavior of my device with MAC OS X.
1)USB CDC ECM + Mass storage composite device With IAD -
When I connect this device with Mac OS X, both CDC ECM and Mass storage
Interface are not up. Same device when connected with linux and windows I
can see both ECM and mass storage interface are up and working.
2)USB CDC ECM Device without IAD and Mass storage -
When I connect this device with MAC OS X I can see the host enumerates the
device correctly and ECM interface is up. But this time I did not include
mass storage and I did not send IAD. I sent device descriptor with
class = 02( cdc) subclass =00 and protocol =00.
Since I need the USB composite device functionality (CDC ECM + MAss
Storage), what changes I have to make at the device side so that host( Mac
OS X) enumerates all the interfaces present ? or Mac OS X requires vendor
specific host side driver to parse the composite device and enumerate all
the interfaces of the device?
