Hello Hans,

I support the App Sandbox in Developer Technical Support. Unfortunately there are no entitlements that allow sandboxed access to HID APIs at this time.

Please file an enhancement request at <http://developer.apple.com/bugreporter>. It will probably be returned as a duplicate but that helps us gauge how many developers are affected.
