see http://www.htmlhelp.com/reference/html40/head/meta.html basically: <META HTTP-EQUIV=Refresh CONTENT="10; URL=http://www.htmlhelp.com/"> "10" for 10 seconds followed by a semi-colin and the URL to reload. I think it's supported as far back as Netscape 4, but REALLY old browsers will have problems which is why it's customary to ALSO provide a link an a note saying "If your browser does not refresh, click here" >I would like to open a web site with a page that views for about 10 >seconds and then redirects to another page. How can I do this with >using the meta "refresh" tag. I can set the server to redirect one >page to another but without a time delay. Does anyone know how to do >this? Thanks. > >John Crockford >_______________________________________________ >web-development mailing list | email@hidden >Help/Unsubscribe/Archives: >http://www.lists.apple.com/mailman/listinfo/web-development >Do not post admin requests to the list.
