Re: Safari (WebKit) color display doesn't match



Thanks, Ian, the different!
I don't like "shooting at sparrows with canons", but for the sake of knowing if I was barking at he right tree, I tried it out.
And guess what: I got a Missing Profile message.
Also, yesterday, I tried out versions of the image files I had re-saved from within GraphicConverter to explicitly not contain any gama correction values, with no different results either.


So, after all, this doesn't seem to be where it's at!
Seems, what's left is just plain old browser quirkiness on Safari's side — too bad!

When opening an image in Photoshop you can choose (according to the preferences) to discard any embedded color profiles.
