I'm putting together a page that I would like to allow someone to print, with "hard" page breaks in certain sections. Is there something I can put into the code that wouldn't be readily visible to a browser, but when someone decides to print the page, would appropriately break the output into delineated pages?

You mean, at a certain point force the browser to start to print on a new page ?

Look at the page-break-before or page-break-after properties for your print stylesheet:

support is ambivalent, more on the CSS-D Wiki
