web development and switching

Hi - my latest laptop just died and I've been wanting to switch from
windows to using a mac but I have to make sure I can do my work with it
and also justify it to one of my freaked out business partners who thinks
I might not be able to do my work with a mac.

Most things I'm not worried about because it's all just text editing and
uploading files to our server.

However, I've got lots of little web apps made for our clients that use MS
SQL Server for the database. I've looked around and can't really find any
clients that are like the Enterprise Manager for making tables, stored
procedures, managing users, and importing/exporting data. I mean I found
some, but it's like the websites for these products aren't that great in
terms of really showing what their product can do.

SQL Grinder
MacSQL 3.0
Aqua Data Studio3

Anything else? Anybody here made the windows->mac switch dealt
specifically with MS SQL Server?

>From what I've found it looks like I could just use a terminal app to
directly do what I do on our server, but there are some things I've made
that are on other servers and I've just got the SQL username and password.
So I need something to deal with that. It looks like most people doing
web development on macs use mysql and I'll probably just start doing that
in the future but I can't get around what I've already built (and am not
going to rebuild).

Also if anyone has any other advice about switching to mac and things that
might come up or if it's all just easy and awesome I'd appreciate it so I
can understand what I might be getting into.

Thanks for any help!

-Aaron
