If you already have a PC, I'd keep it and use that (either with
keyboard/display/mouse attached or through VNC) rather than VirtualPC.
But if you really, really, REALLY want to get rid of the PC, I suppose
VirtualPC is the way to go. Besides, my accounting app is Windows-only
and I don't know of any package that'll do the trick on MacOS, for the
Dutch tax system, that isn't a total GUI horror show.
Another option (only applies if you're a geek) is to install Linux on
the PC (complete with Apache and such, so you have a local test server)
and use VMWare[1] to run (several instances/versions of) Windows.
But again, unless you have a very compelling reason to ditch the PC
(just 'because Windows sucks' wouldn't be enough for me) I'd keep the
setup as it is right now.
