Just checking... Did you also enter the correct user name and password
in the config file?  Generally, there are the three things most PHP-apps
need to connect to your database: DB name, user name, and password; from
there, the application sets-up the database schema and loads any data.

The docs look fairly thorough... at least, I've seen worse.  You might
want to double-check all the parameter setttings in the config file
again.  Did you see this page?
