Re: Web hosting short list



That is just nonsense. I have been using Dreamhost for over 6 years and have been up and running 99.9% of the time. 5 nines it is not, but then who is?

For $21.95/mo I get 78 gig of disk space and 2 tb of bandwidth... plus all the extras I need.

Just in the past week, pretty much their entire network went down for about five hours, and several individual servers have been down with unrelated issues. DreamHost is cheap, offers a lot of services, and has quick (if not always satisfying) responses on support tickets.
But reliable they are not.
