I think that's an unrealistic assumption. You appear to be making an impossible case, then standing back in satisfaction as you prove it!


There is no standard for measuring "percentage uptime", but most seem to cite their monthly uptime.

I'd suggest the most meaningful way to specify uptime would be "mean time between failure," or MTBF. The methodologies involved are rigorous and well-researched in the electronics industry.
