PHP catalog navigation

Hello,

I'm a web designer making a site that has 2 catalogs on it. I'd like to create a page navigation that is automatic without me coding the HTML for each page. So the current page isn't an href, every other page is a link and it has a next page, previous page option where applicable.

I'm a complete newbie for php and any programming. I'm just looking for a good place to start or a tutorial to accomplish this. This is the site and an example page with the navigation I am talking about: http://www.supplymarketing.com/Redesign/promo_corporate1.php

The only php I use on the pages are includes and eventually some forms that are already built. Thanks for any help or info!
