Re: PHP catalog navigation

I'm a web designer making a site that has 2 catalogs on it. I'd like to create a page navigation that is automatic without me coding the HTML for each page. So the current page isn't an href, every other page is a link and it has a next page, previous page option where applicable.

I'm a complete newbie for php and any programming. I'm just looking for a good place to start or a tutorial to accomplish this.

There are thousands of PHP tutorials out there, so you can just go to Google and type in what you want to do, e.g. "PHP page navigation" and look at the results to get an idea of what to do. In this case, the first result is a page full of PHP pagination tutorials:

Any of those will get you started. Then when you have more specific questions, you can come back here.

Peace,
Scott
