Re: Navicat?

Hi Gus,
I like Navicat very much, I have to say. Though I never used it on a Mac, actually, but on PC. Personally, I like Navicat because it can import data from e.g. Excel. I know that Coca MySQL is not able to do this and I believe neither is phpMyAdmin. Depending on your needs, maybe "MySQL Administrator" from MySQL is an option you should look at too.

Another thing you should consider are the capabilities of Navicat and MySQL Administrator to help you when setting up / administering user accounts. Those programs have a more "graphical" approach so to say, than Cocoa MySQL or MySQL Administrator.

Anyway, if you can afford it, I would go for Navicat.

regards,
Frank

Anyone out there use Navicat and have an opinion on its value/use verses
CocoaMySQL, phpMyAdmin, etc.?

Thanks,
Gus
