I am not able to get window.close() working in Safari on Mac. I have my HTML code which calls JS to open a Calendar as popup. When I select the date, I am using Window.Close to close the pop-up calendar. It does not work in Safari on Mac.The calendar is not closing. I tried self.close, but in vain.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
