Hi Mark

Looks like you have received some good info on what to do about your problem, I had problems similar to those you describe, at one stage the SPAM I was receiving from a single page with 4 forms was approaching 100 per day!! I managed to stop it all by filtering the script through the use of "HTTP Referrer" - the script has to be invoked from the an actual page referred to in the script or it fails. I am aware that HTTP Referrer is easy to change and does not offer all the security required, but as it turned out it was sufficient to stop the SPAM that was coming from this form.
