Really, watermarking or some other form of degradation is one approach you might take, but the other is simply to treat people as if they were adults, make a clear copyright (or other rights) statement on the site, and be done with it. The amount of time you spend worrying about this and trying to engineer an end-run around your users will be wasted in most cases.
Don't post anything you wouldn't give away anyway.
