Re: WebBrowseTree

Of course, I want to present this browse tree within a browser and allow users to navigate around it. You can imagine it in Safari's bookmarks window (I have written hooks for a new BookmarkSource subclass to achieve this in an InputManager hack). I want the browse tree to be presented centred on the WebHistoryItem in the current WebView, with that item highlighted -- along with any items currently open in any other WebView (tab or window).

I forgot to elaborate upon this: double-clicking on an item in the browse tree would take you to that item, either in the current window or tab or, if the item is highlighted -- i.e., already open in another window or tab -- by switching to that. Also, holding Cmd and pressing uparrow/downarrow would provide a way to cycle through open windows/tabs quickly (centring the browse tree on each in turn, and then switching to that window/tab when Cmd is released, similar to the behaviour for Cmd-Tab or Cmd-Backtick). The browse tree would probably by default be expanded just enough to show all the highlighted items.

Best wishes,
Hamish
