Does that means that I have to buy a OSX Server to get a deploy license
? YES
Is there a distinction between dev and deploy license ?
YES Developer licence is for development (bundled with Tiger),
deployment licence is for deployment (bundled with Tiger Server).
Finally, is there a distinction between 'WAR deployment with tomcat'
and 'other-kind-of deployment' (and in which case do we need a deploy
license ?
There is no distinction. ALL cases of deployment need a deployment
licence. Either buy Tiger Server for $499, buy an XServe $2999, or buy
WO 5.2 for $699.

Andre

**Hum, you need to buy a deployement key, for WO 5.3 it comes with Tiger
**server licence.
**As I sayed before, deployment key isn't free as the developement one. **Installing WO 5.3 under linux (or windows) is permited (see previous **posts in this ML), but I don't know someone who succed (WO
5.3 only **commes installed with tiger server) so chose WAR deployement with tomcat
David, Aurelien,
Thanks a lot for your comments,
