this method returns native boolean ....... not Boolean ..... I think that might be the problem with that not working for you. (just educated guess)
Non primitive all box up to their capital letter versions in KVC, actually ... We use array.count pretty frequently (as opposed to @count). If you check the source, there's a special exclusion for "count".
