Re: preventing sql injection



Actually, the "replace" function doesn't use regular expressions - it only finds literal matches.

replace(CharSequence target, CharSequence replacement)
          Replaces each substring of this string that matches the literal target sequence with the specified literal replacement sequence.

"replaceAll" in contrast DOES use regular expressions.
