Re: WebServicesAssistant and 5.2.2

Hi Chris,

I have a lot of problems with Web Services projects migrated from Jaguar/Project Builder/WO 5.2.1 to Panther/Xcode/WO 5.2.2. I am also using FrontBase, but I don't think this is a factor. Usually, the problem I get is that some exception is thrown by the org.apache.axis package. The projects were working OK with WO 5.2.1 and they no longer work under 5.2.2.

My problems differ from yours, though, since I can get the assistant to run, although the test button does not work because of exception being thrown by the server. Using a SoapDebug application I have written, I can see the exception causing the problem.

I'd really like someone from Apple to chime in with status report and advices for work-arounds.

I can't seem to get WebServicesAssistant to connect to a trivial application running locally (DirectConnect) on Mac OS X 10.3.1 with Xcode 1.0.1 and WebObjects 5.2.2 Developer.
