Re: Any WWDC News

Thanks Clayton.

I am encouraged that you got wind of some commitment from Apple. But I don't think that should be enough to keep you or the rest of us quiet for yet another year.

I hope I'm not coming across as a mad flamer. I sincerely think that there is currently not a more important topic in our WebObjects world. I also sincerely respect everyone's opinion in this thread so far - in most cases I completely agree with them. I have just reached the point where I think it's time for all of us to get a little more proactive.

I don't have the answer for just how to do that (be proactive), but I know that step 1 is not accepting the status quo any longer and stop making excuses for Apple.

I just don't see how a future "under cover" can be bright at all. I can't be alone here, can I?

Thanks, man. :-)

I hate to jump into this flame world. However, I feel from the WWDC briefings that Apple is committed to WebObjects. However, without any real penetration into the enterprise, Apple technologies are not accepted. I know from experience. I think WebObjects has a bright history even if it is under cover.
