Component rendered in java vs. via component

Hello -

I am now using javascript with YUI and I have a need to render the outputted html where it is normally rendered
via one of my components. My normal component basically wraps around the text and creates an href that fires
a method. Now I need to render this in java to fit in my javascript.

What is the approach here?
