A wiki is created the first time you log in to it. It won't show up
until then, even if you've told the server that it should exist.
I have not seen this with consistency.
I have a number of virtual web hosts, running correctly. I try to
associate wikis with several of them. However, they ALL show up on the
group page on ANY of the virtual hosts, and many of them return 404
when invoked from their associated virtual host.
I see exactly the same list, although only four of those wikis are
associated with the ecoreality.org virtual host. But each of those
four return a 404 page when clicked upon.
At the suggestion of John Anderson, I have submitted the first
behaviour as a bug.
The second behaviour seems to be associated with the "www." at the
beginning. I can get at wikis that only have the naked domain name
entered, yet everything except the wiki works fine with "www."
prepended. I have the "www." form declared an an Alias in Server Admin
--> Web --> Sites --> Aliases, and as a CNAME to the base domain name
in Server Admin --> DNS --> Zones.
Any clues why wikis won't work with "www." prepended in this case,
even though the "normal" website works fine? Any ideas for fixing
this? Should I bugsub it?
