xterm fonts revisited

With this fantastic hack from Steve my interest in replacing Terminal.app
with xterm is renewed. Having a way to generate and maintain an aqua-
launchable menu of my commonly used shells and terminal-bound unix apps.

However in the months of growing accustomed to Terminal.app I've also
grown very fond of the nice 9 point VT100 Roman font that it allows.
The recently-discussed "xterm -fa <fontname>" parameter doesn't seem
to yield this font no matter what permutation of VT110/VT102 I attempt
to supply. Is this Terminal.app font available to X11? What's causing
it to be inaccessable to me?

Any tips or hints would be greatly appreciated.

As an unrelated side note, I really miss my "transparency on lost focus"
option from OroborOSX and I'd like to register a vote for adding it as
a gratuitious eye candy feature in some future release of quartz-wm once
the more important matters are sorted out.
