Does anyone know if it still is possible to download a version of
X11.app for OSX10.2.8?
I am not running Jaguar and the only X11 download that I can find on
the Apple site requires OSX10.3.
I had a completely functioning version of X11 (downloaded from
Apple), but suffered a kernel panic earlier this week that
necessitated an' archive and install' system reinstallation.
Since then I have lost access to X11.
I can find a version of the X11 libraries in
/Previous Systems/Previous System 1/private/etc/X11
and the X11.app still exists in /Applications, but if I attempt to
start X11 from a terminal command line I get -
"Couldn't exec /usr/X11R6/bin/Xquartz: No such file or directory"
I'd would be most grateful if anyone can (a) tell me if it is
possible to resurrect X11 from the libraries remaining and (b) how to
