Re: copy and paste between X11 and native apps



do 'man xterm' and go down to "POINTER USAGE". It starts right out talking about the cut buffer and the X PRIMARY SELECTION (which is not the clipboard). Its not much help, but seems to mean that xterm doesn't come with this functionality at all.

As best as I can understand it, -C should copy the PRIMARY buffer to the Aqua (and the X) clipboard. This is kinda slow, as you already know.

The method of copying something in Aqua seems like over-kill to me. I've taken to just leaving a short pause between -c in X and -v in Aqua. It might help to try hitting -c several times. I have never seen any correlation between how recently you copied from aqua and the delay in copy in X.
