I am a brand new Mac-User and have a question about the X11-Console:
How can I type in € or @? The usual keyboard-combination does not
work.
I need this, because my OpenOffice runs under X11.
I can't help with the special symbols (and you should at least
mention the keyboard layout you are using for other people to help
you, although I suppose it's German QWERTZ given your email address),
but regarding OpenOffice try NeoOffice/J instead: http://
www.neooffice.org/. Since it's a Java GUI on top of OpenOffice,
regular Mac keycombo's do work (even for menu commands).
