I believe I have a problem with my X11 setup. I have a Macbook Pro
running OS X 10.4.7 and have installed X11User.pkg and X11SDK.pkg.
The $DISPLAY variable is set to "localhost:0.0" When I double-click
on the X11.app the program launches, appears to load (I see "X11
Applications" etc. in the top bar) and then immediately closes. The
system log shows the following:
XFree86 Version 4.4.0 / X Window System
(protocol Version 11, revision 0, vendor release 6600)
[DRI] screen 0 installation complete
Screen 0 added: 1440x900 @ (0,0)
Could not init font path element /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/CID/,
removing from list!
The last line appears to be more of a warning than an error. Are
there any suggestions to how to fix this? Thanks!
