though, we did our best to squeeze in additional fixes where
feasible. The problem with 8-bit color, unfortunately, is due to
lower-level system components that are not part of X11 per se, and
thus not appropriate for this Update. We'll see if we can get that
fix into a regular Software Update, but with Leopard right around the
corner I can't promise anything.
