I am extremely disappointed that this update did not fix the acknowledged
bug where on PPC systems Tek windows cannot render text. All you get it
dotted outline rectangular boxes. This bug was reported shortly after the
release of 10.4 using bugreporter.apple.com and has not been fixed. I have
noticed that the bug does not exist on Intel systems so in some sense I
guess it was addressed. I suspect that the problem may be related to a font
issue with the X11 install but no one has been able to identify it.
By the way, for those folks who updated the OS from 10.3.9 and did not
install the 10.4 version of X11 this problem does not exist. As soon as the
10.4 version of X11 is installed the problem appears.
