Actually there is an Aqua version of OO.  It's called NeoOffice.

As I'm sure you've heard by now, the latest X11 update kills OO, stone cold
dead!

Workaround (and problem) described here:

Well.  Deleting half your ttf fonts seems a bit drastic.

Fortunately, it seems that the latest snapshot build (as of lunchtime today)
works without crashing.  I'll wait for the dust to settle...

I hope an Aqua version of OO comes along soon: I'm getting a bit frustrated by
Apple's rather half baked X11 support!
