Re: LyX under X11 behaviour

Yes, that command will only apply to X11 windows, not to other OS X applications.  Unfortunately, I'm not aware of a "focus follows mouse" solution for regular OS X apps.

Exactly! Still does not work:

if the command:

defaults write com.apple.x11 wm_ffm -bool true

is given and x11 retarted, then:

1. it IS possible to "focus" on another xterm window with the mouse
2. in all cases of true X11 applications I tried (xemacs installed from
the source, xmakemol, xcalc)
    it  DOES work as well!
3. it is NOT possible to do that for  LyX I installed: they say it is  a
"native MAC" application which I
read that it is a proper AQUA application
4. this does NOT work between X11 and other AQUA applications such as
Aquamacs for instance.

This makes me think that:
1. mouse focusing does actually work between native x11 applications
after the defaults command is run;
it DOES work!
2. it does NOT work between aqua applications or between aqua and x11
applications

Then, the question is this now: how to change the mouse focus behaviour
for aqua applications?
Any ideas?
